Stone Mountain Health Services has the only federally funded Black Lung Clinic in the Commonwealth of Virginia. There are 14 other programs across the country that receive money from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration to help miners and their families.
On these pages, we provide information about the Stone Mountain Black Lung Program, including our Layperson Legal Representation program that has helped miners and their families receive millions of dollars in Workers’ Compensation claims. We also provide information about Black Lung Disease, including Progressive Massive Fibrosis (also called Complicated Black Lung Disease), and we have a page of links to other resources.
